Despite several days of very warm and humid temperatures the career, volunteer and civilian members of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFRD), along with the members of Department of Public Safety Communications, dug deep and worked hard to “Fill The Boot” for MDA.

There are many facets that make Fairfax’s campaign a success. Among them are the support from the Fairfax County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics IAFF Local 2068, the FCFRD, the Department of Public Safety Communications, the Fairfax County Police Department FOP Lodge 77, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Retirement Association, Subway, Paul Davis Restoration, Eagle Bank, the Fairfax County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association Canteens, the staff at the Greater Washington MDA. Last but not least, the families that came out to help work on the campaign behind the scenes delivering snacks and drinks, counting money, answering phones, folding shirts and the many other tasks that make our campaign the best.
Of course, the biggest reason we are so successful are the residents, businesses and visitors of Fairfax County. Thank you all for your generosity!
