Attention all fire and rescue personnel from across the region! Fairfax County Fire and Rescue EMS Training and INOVA Fairfax Trauma Services are proud to present another EMS Lecture Series. Come join us on Monday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Academy. CEU’s available.

Topic for this lecture is the CIREN program and its research process that combines prospective data collection with professional multidisciplinary analysis of medical and engineering evidence to determine injury causation in every crash investigation conducted. CIREN stands for Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network. It is a grant program under NHTSA with only three Level 1 trauma centers in the United States as participants.

Kristen Ray, RN from INOVA’s Trauma Services, will host an interactive and engaging EMS Trauma Jeopardy! There will be prizes!
