Helping To Shape Our Future

On Friday, personnel from the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Training Section spent time with students from Chantilly High School’s Academy for Health Services sharing career opportunities and EMS skills. The academy is a governors program for science and healthcare services. Our staff met with about 100 juniors and seniors who are studying to enter the health care field in our area.

Our department has been doing this for a couple years now and are always delighted that they invite us back each time. I’m impressed with their energy, enthusiasm and am hoping some of them consider joining us in the department in the very near future.
