On July 11, at approximately 1:22 a.m., units responded to the 7600 block of Cork Glen Way for reports of a townhouse on fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters observed smoke and fire showing from a two-story townhouse. An aggressive attack was conducted and the fire was brought under control. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries.
The house had two working smoke alarms, which alerted the two occupants of the townhouse to the fire. Two adults and two canines have been displaced. Red Cross is providing assistance. Total property loss is estimated at $75,000.
