World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) Continue Through Holiday Weekend

Public safety competitors from more than 60 countries continue to compete in team and individual sports and events throughout the Independence Day Weekend. The competition has been fierce, but friendly and congenial.

Competitors have come together to compete, have fun, share stories, and have an once-in-a-lifetime experience. The camaraderie generated from the WPFG among competitors has been nothing but genuine and a wonderful cultural experience.

The general public is invited to attend and absorb the Olympic-like experience. The varied inventory of events and games will provide enjoyment and excitement for almost everyone’s tastes.

Fairfax County Channel 16 provides daily coverage of the games, participants, and feature stories. Click on http://fairfaxcounty.gov/news/2015/world-police-and-fire-games-coverage.htm.
